I have a piece of advice that may or may not apply to everyone.
As we all know, the iPhone backups take a ridiculous amount of time. (half hour to hour most of the time). I may have found a fix for this. Just the other day, I restored my iPhone, but NOT from a backup. it was a clean wipe, and then immediately installed 2.0.2 before any usage. I then transfered my desired applications, which took way to long, and then began inputting my data. I have backed up 5 times since the complete restore, and each time, the back up took only a matter of about 3-4 min.
I am not sure if it was the restore that fixed this problem, or something else that I am not aware of, but it is definitely 100 times better now that I don't have to wait an hour to back up my iPhone.
I hope this works for others!
